Data Collector Gather ANY data type, from ANY device in ANY location This is a truly unique software application. It is very small at only 4MB and it can be deployed pre-installed and pre-configured on a small form factor appliance or it can be downloaded and installed onto almost any OS on practically any hardware, whether physical or virtualised. With its web server architecture, it can be installed in minutes and then configured using a simple, clean and intuitive GUI. Once deployed onto a network, it can run a bewildering number of Queries, at lightning speed to gather information in a vast array of Data Types. It works entirely agentlessly - unlike most monitoring systems - so it has the minimises management overhead. The Data Collector takes it's instructions from a Central Controller and it will send the information it gathers back to that Controller, fully encrypted, across any network connection without needing any changes to be made to the firewalls or gateway systems on those remote sites. From the Central Controller, the gathered information can be exported to your monitoring system, or to the analyzer of choice, for processing. System Analyzer Analyze & Display ANY information, in ANY way This is the most flexible Monitoring & Analysis System available. It can be deployed pre-installed and pre-configured on a small form factor appliance or it can be downloaded and installed onto almost any OS on practically any hardware, whether physical or virtualised. With its web server architecture, it can be installed in minutes and then configured using a simple, clean and intuitive GUI. Once deployed onto a network, it can receive data presented from a range of sources (but is configured for optimum performance when working with the Pervade Software Data Collector). Unlike most systems available today however, the System Analyzer can comfortably receive information from every data type, including Asset, Performance, Configuration, Availability, Vulnerability, Flow and Log. The Pervade Aggregation Engine has a unique way of dealing with incoming information that allows the system to provide real-time or historic reporting incredibly fast and store aggregated data longer than any other system. The Pervade Correlation Engine provides Baselining, Trending, comparative reports and can trigger Alerts. This ability to correlate multiple data types over extended periods of time provides for far superior forensics and analytics. All of this is configurable through a simple and intuitive web-based GUI. Compliance Tracker A single system to GET Compliant and STAY Compliant This is the first software system of it's kind to offer tangible computerised support to Compliance Managers. Compliance has become more and more important. This is because of the onslaught, in recent years, of mandatory information security and risk management regulations (such as PCI-DSS, SOX/COBIT, HIPPA and GLBA), as well as an increase in the number of best practise frameworks (such as ISO27001/27002, ITIL and CIS) which many organizations are choosing to mandate for their internal information protection policies. All of these policies are "Controls-based" and this means that the standards body which created the policy has defined a series of "Controls" that companies have to prove that they comply with. The real challenge is not only to understand the obscure language used in the Controls themselves but also to understand exactly what evidence is needed to prove compliance and to find a way to securely store and present that evidence. The Compliance Tracker from Pervade Software takes the stated Controls from a Compliance Policy and provides a framework for the management of those Controls. Once the Controls are entered into the system, they are translated into a workflow of simplified questions which demand "Yes/No" answers and which also demand supporting evidence. The uploaded evidence is stored and protected (and quarantined if any attempts are made to make alterations outside of the compliance process). Many Controls will need regular updating, such as a Control that demands regular review of a policy for example. These Controls can be set to "expire" in the system so that compliance status drops until fresh evidence of compliance is entered.
